These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Topline Exteriors website and your engagement with our services. Please read them carefully before submitting a quote request or entering into a service agreement with us.
These Terms are intended to be fair and straightforward. If you have any questions about anything written here, please call us at (780) 902-2498 or email [email protected] — we're happy to explain.
By accessing or using the Topline Exteriors website at toplineexteriors.ca, submitting a quote request, or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our website or services.
These Terms apply to all visitors, clients, and others who access or use our website or services.
Topline Exteriors Inc. provides exterior renovation, roofing, window replacement, eavestrough installation, deck construction, and related services to residential and commercial clients in Edmonton and surrounding areas.
All services are subject to a written contract or work order agreed upon by both parties prior to commencement of work. The scope, pricing, timeline, and materials for each project will be outlined in that agreement. These Terms are supplementary to, and do not replace, any signed project contract.
Free estimates provided by Topline Exteriors are based on a visual inspection of your property and the information you provide. Estimates are not binding contracts. Final pricing may vary if unforeseen conditions are discovered during the project (e.g., hidden structural damage, code compliance requirements).
Any changes to the agreed scope of work will be documented in a written change order and must be approved by the client before additional work proceeds.
Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated.
Payment terms are outlined in your project contract. Typically, a deposit is required prior to project commencement, with the balance due upon substantial completion of the work.
Topline Exteriors accepts payment by cheque, e-transfer, credit card, and approved financing through our financing partner. Financing terms are governed by a separate agreement with the financing provider.
Accounts not paid within the terms of the contract may be subject to interest charges and collection proceedings. The client is responsible for any reasonable legal or collection costs incurred in recovering overdue amounts.
Topline Exteriors provides a workmanship warranty on all completed projects. The specific warranty period varies by service and will be outlined in your project contract. This warranty covers defects in workmanship and installation but does not cover damage caused by extreme weather events, acts of God, improper maintenance, or modifications made by third parties after project completion.
Manufacturer warranties on materials (shingles, siding, windows, etc.) are separate from our workmanship warranty and are governed by the respective manufacturer's terms. We will provide you with all applicable manufacturer warranty documentation upon project completion.
Warranty claims must be submitted in writing to [email protected]. We will respond within 5 business days and schedule an inspection if required.
The client is responsible for ensuring safe and reasonable access to the work area, including clearing vehicles, furniture, and personal items from the work zone prior to the scheduled start date.
The client is responsible for obtaining any required permits unless otherwise specified in the project contract. Topline Exteriors will advise on permit requirements and can assist with the permit application process for an additional fee.
The client must notify Topline Exteriors of any known hazards on the property, including buried utilities, asbestos, or other conditions that could affect the safety of our team.
Clients may cancel or reschedule a project by providing written notice to [email protected]. Cancellations made more than 5 business days before the scheduled start date will receive a full refund of any deposit paid.
Cancellations made within 5 business days of the scheduled start date may be subject to a cancellation fee to cover mobilization costs and materials already ordered. The specific fee will be outlined in your project contract.
Topline Exteriors reserves the right to reschedule projects due to weather conditions, material delays, or other circumstances beyond our control. We will provide as much advance notice as possible in such situations.
Topline Exteriors' liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount paid by the client for the specific work giving rise to the claim.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of use, loss of revenue, or damage to personal property not directly caused by our work.
Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for personal injury or death caused by our negligence, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
Topline Exteriors carries general liability insurance and workers' compensation coverage. Proof of insurance is available upon request. Clients are encouraged to verify that their homeowner's insurance policy covers contractor work performed on their property.
